Home

St. Peter’s Pre-school was established over 25 years ago and is located in the church vestry adjacent to St Peter’s Church in Droitwich alongside the Droitwich Lido Park and St. Peters first school. Our aim is to provide a warm and secure environment where children can learn through free and structured play.  We work towards the principles of Early Years Foundation Stage which outline the areas of development that we concentrate on developing personal, social and emotional development, communication, language and literacy skills, problem solving and numeracy, and creative development, as well as knowledge and understanding of the world around them today.

We are now part of a strong thriving community having close links with St. Peter’s Church and School, although run on a secular basis.

At St Peter’s Pre-School we provide sessional care for children aged 2 years 9 months up to school age.  A maximum of 18 children may attend the pre-school at any one time. We are open during term time Monday to Friday for 2 sessions a day: 08:45 until 11:45 for younger children and from 12:15 until 15:15 for older children.

St Peter’s Pre-school is registered with Ofsted and we actively support their concept of “Learning through Play”, a copy of which can be obtained at the Pre-school.

The Pre-school is a registered charity (Registered Charity No. 10373970) and we welcome involvement from parents at all levels. The committee of volunteer parents is fundamental in keeping the Pre-school open and there is plenty of opportunity for any/all parents to get actively involved with their child’s Pre-school at committee level.

Our Pre-school had an Ofsted inspection in 2009 with very positive results, a copy of which is available from from Ofsted Website.

We hope our website will show you what our Pre-school can offer your child/children. For further information please contact:
